What is the wise thing to do?
- Everybody has something they regret in life; a moment, a season, or possibly years.
- Many times we ask ourselves, "How could I have been so foolish?"
- Life can not begin to get better if we continuously look back.
- We may not have seen a situation coming, but chances are somebody else did.
- It is easier to see problems in others and offer solutions, rather than address our own problems.
- Emotionally charged environments are bad for decision making.
- Emotions cloud judgment.
- What is the wise thing to do when emotions get high? Listen.
- Wise people recognize when they are in no condition to decide something for themselves, by themselves.
- 1 Kings 4:29
- Solomon spoke of seeking counsel more than anyone, regardless of wisdom.

- We are not meant to live life alone.
- If we recognize all of these things in our lives, why do we choose not to follow solutions?
1. Those who are wise will tell us, but we do not listen.
2. We do not think it is anyone's business.
3. Pride.
- The only way to come out of a place of pride is to invite others into our place of weakness.
- Wise people know what they don't know.
