In this show Jeff & John-Luke, ask what do we mean and what does it take in “Tending The Earth?” and are we in some struggle between tending and reaping; supply and demand?
We will be trying get a grip on the notion of tending Earth and whether this is our job or is our role to be tended by the earth; and how far do we take or realize our responsibility for tending or mis-tending. The mistreatment of the environment is a big debate and we hope to address a small piece of it.

"Earth Song" is the third single from Michael Jackson's album HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I. It is the fifth song on the second disc of the album. It is a ballad that incorporates elements of blues, gospel and opera. Jackson had a long-standing history of releasing socially conscious material such as "We Are the World", "Man in the Mirror" and "Heal the World". However, "Earth Song" was the first that overtly dealt with the environment and animal welfare. The song was written and composed by Jackson; the task of production was split between Jackson, David Foster and Bill Bottrell. It was released in November 1995 on the Epic Label.
