* Geoff Johns and Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins said at Wonder Con during their panel is the DC movies have been missing the 3 H's - Heart, Humor and Heroics. They hope fans see these things as they move forward with the brand.
* With the success of Lucasfilm, other studios are saying to their developers that "they want their Rouge One". Warner announced that there's interest in revitalizing the Matrix and now writer of Boss Baby, Michael McCullers says he's completed a script for a fifth Shrek movie that plans to revitalize the franchise for Universal.
* Arnold Schwarzenegger comments on the up and down rumors regarding The Terminator franchise and his involvement in it.
* Arnold also reveals his thoughts on being offered a role in Shane Black's Predator movie.
* In other Arnold news producer and screenwriter Chris Morgan reports that the long talked about Conan sequel is officially dead.
* Morgan is also the writer of The Mummy and clues us in on Universal's plan to revitalize their Monster franchise into a shared universe.
* Harry Shearer, Christopher Guest and Michael McKean have filed a lawsuit against Vivendi the right-holders to This Is Spinal Tap who've reported only $98 of sales for the soundtrack that the trio has written. Shearer offers a statement about the lawsuit: Behind the ambitious, creative talent that is Hollywood lies a darker side of the entertainment industry little appreciated by the ordinary moviegoer. It's an opaque world of film financing, revenue accretion and minimal profit share. If exposed, as our Spinal Tap lawsuit against Vivendi aims to do, fans will no doubt be horrified at the shameful gravy train that rolls for corporate rights holders at the expense of creators.
* Apparently Alex Baldwin has a big beef with Harrison Ford. Ford replaced Baldwin as Jack Ryan after The Hunt for Red October.
* Legendary Comedian Don Rickles has died of kidney failure at 90 years old. He's starred on countless TV shows throughout the 50s-70s, was a headline comedian in Vegas, was the original substitute host for Carson on The Tonight Show and was the subject of an HBO documentary titled Mr. Warmth in which he won an Emmy. He was in Martin Scorcese's Mafia epic, Casino and is know to modern audiences as the voice of Mr. Potatohead in the Toy Story series.
* Though Lucasfilm has said they have no plans to recreate Carrie Fisher digitally, they have been given permission by her daughter Billie Lourde and brother Todd Fisher to use her image to utilize unused film footage to include her in Episode 9. Todd Fisher says.
