Some surprising things happened this week that we had to discuss. Tamar Braxton has reportedly been transferred to a mental health facility just days after she was hospitalized for an alleged attempted suicide. It was initially reported that David immediately called 911 after finding Braxton unresponsive on Thursday night and told the cops that she had been drinking and had ingested an unknown amount of prescription pills. Tamar's boyfriend, David Adefeso, does not believe that she was trying to kill herself. All the best to her! Apple Music becomes exclusive music partner for Swizz Beata & Timbaland's 'Verzuz' series. The battles will be broadcast live on Apple Music and Beats 1 for free while simultaneously streaming on Instagram Live. The events will also be available on-demand following the live streams. The lastest Verzuz matchup featured two of the most iconic figures in Hip Hop and pop culture. California's Snoop Dogg faced off against New York's DMX that went live last night. Check that one out!! A huge congrats are in order to Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty! This will be Nicki and Kenneth’s first child together. Last October Nicki confirmed that they officially tied the knot and that she is Mrs. Petty. Kanye West made headlines for all the wrong reasons following his first presidential campaign rally in Charleston, South Carolina on Sunday. While the star discussed his anti-abortion stance, revealing his mom Donda - the namesake of his forthcoming album - "saved his life" after his dad pressured her for an abortion, and admitting he asked wife Kim Kardashian to do the same with daughter North, it was his views about activist Harriet Tubman that riled fans. During the rally, Kanye claimed the activist, who fled a slave plantation before returning 19 times, helping at least 300 others to freedom via the “Underground Railroad” - the network of secret routes that enabled their escape - did not free slaves, insisting, "She just had them work for other white people!" Leave it to Kanye. The US loses two icons of the civil rights movement in one day! John Robert Lewis died at age 80 after a battle with cancer. Rev. Cordy Tindell "C.T." Vivian died at age 95 of natural causes. They died a day before the birthday of the late Nelson Mandela -- another renown champion of racial equality. After years of arrests, confrontations and unyielding demands for justice, they received the highest civilian honor from the nation's first Black President. For the "HOT TAKE" topic this week the crew discussed "common reasons female friends grow apart ?" Drop a comment on your thoughts!
