This week Governor Mike Parson is defending his position to call a special session on motor vehicle tax allowances. Lawmakers urged him to shift the focus to gun reform. Over 40 bills went into effect last week, but some were stalled by lawsuits. One of the stalled laws is one restricting abortion. The lawsuit stalling that law could take months to wrap up.
