Last spring I was honored by the New England Gay Officers Action League at their 25th anniversary gala.  I met Mr. Tanner White, a member of the United States Marine Corps and an “out” gay man who is also “out” as HIV-positive.  In addition to serving our country, he also created an organization called “A Positive Tomorrow” with the mission of combating the stigma associated with being HIV-positive.
