Parenting… Like many, I’ve searched for ideas, common things that work, read books, things my parents did or should’ve done, you name it… All with the goal of raising great humans!

 

But let’s be honest… Nothing can prepare you for parenting, except actual parenting. And maybe bits of preparation

 

People often said to my wife and I, “When I have kids, I hope they’re as cool as yours”. “Your children are awesome people”, “You have such a great relationship with your kids”. Although, I did really appreciate the comments, I was always slightly doubtful in the heat of their growth, but it wasn’t until they were actual adults that I understood.

 

You see, I truly waited until my children were adults before feeling confident about sharing information, advice or doing something like this Podcast, or writing a book, because I wanted to make sure my parenting skills were validated. 

 

Trust me, in the flames of parenting I was going bat shit crazy! Honestly, I’m still going a little bat shit crazy because I’m still a parent, parenting!
