Agent Vince Larkin, upon realizing he was face to face with Cameron Poe, one of the good guys, he stated "I'm going to lower my weapon, Poe, are you going to lower yours?" 

To which Poe responded "There's only two men in this world that I trust. One of em is me and the other one ain't you"... 

This Klarity moment gives us a quick glimpse at how, just because we are willing to 'lower our weapon', until trust is established between two parties, two races, two sexes, others are not obligated to lower theirs. And until we all get this, we are all going to be stuck, still standing there having a showdown at Lerner Airfield...
