Preparing ourselves for the life’s last enemy can be among the most difficult things we must do. Life’s last enemy is death and it’s our last great showdown. For some the discussion of death is morbid and of little value, for others there can be no discussion without it. However, for each of us it must be a discussion at some point. It requires a great deal of thought and desire to truly look at life and ask, “What’s next.” This week, Pastor Butler concludes the Showdown series as he walks with us through this dialogue by listening to the thoughts of Jesus as He prepared for a death that would end in bringing life to all who will believe.
