I grew up going to church.  As I look back at that time, two of the best things that happened were that I learned to memorize Bible verses, and I learned many of the old hymns.  
If we lean those things early on, they will stick with you throughout your life.  Today we look at a man whose life was saved by Bible verses and old hymns.
