Dan and Travis have been threatening to show this movie to George for years. They never mentioned that it was Paul Verhoeven (Robocop, Total Recall, Basic Instinct) but you have to assume George had lofty expectations (or a paralyzing sense of confusion) when he read the "directed by" credits.
Let's settle with you guys. This movie stinks. But the real discussion begins with the "Why!?" What happened to this movie? Why is it the way it is? We get into it. And then we quote it a bunch. And then we question ourselves. And Travis snorted again.
Will Travis take back his baseless attacks on Shannon Tweed? Will George ever trust us to show him a movie again? Will Dan seriously defend this movie as accomplishing its mission? Thanks for the cheeseburger.
