With everything that is going on in this world right now, there has been a new awakening for social justice this past year as many of you question the systems you’re a part of. If you have done enough of your readings, then you know that the very system that was built to educate and inform us, is the same system that refuses to make the transformational change. On today's episode I have the amazing Maliesha, who is a huge advocate for anti-oppressive education and social change, and also a teacher in our education system. I must warn everyone, the conversations today are a bit uncomfortable but it is very much needed. So after you listen to this episode, I want you to ask yourself, how are you contributing to the change we need as a society, and especially to our BIPOC bodies/communities.
