I am Madhuri kompella . I used to read a lot of books when I was a child, but now a days I don't see anybody reading books, especially children.  The life style is as such. Everybody are busy with their lives.

Reading is my hobby. I thought why not  read bhagavatham for the people so that they can hear it while doing their chores, what is more pleasing than hearing about lord vishnu's leelas. I dedicate this bhagavatham audio book to the lotus petal feet of lord Krishna and to the audience who are his form.

This episode starts with how shanthana becomes emperor  after his father. He marries ganga. Ganga marries him on one condition that he shouldn't stop her whatever she does. He agrees and marries him. They married and living happily. when she conceived he was so happy. But she throws her first child in river Ganga. He is astonished and annoyed  by her move. But he stays silent as he married her saying that he will not object her deeds, but as she continues doing this until 7 children. after 8 th child is born as she carries him towards ganga river shantanu gets furious and asks her why is she doing this cruel thing. so she laughs and says that these are ashta vasuvus they were cursed and brought to this world and went staight back away. But this last vasuvu is brought to this world on purpose so he should stay a bit longer than other seven. she reminds him her condition and goes away from him taking the child.
