I am Madhuri kompella . I used to read a lot of books when I was a child, but now a days I don't see anybody reading books, especially children. The life style is as such. Everybody are busy with their lives.
Reading is my hobby. I thought why not read bhagavatham for the people so that they can hear it while doing their chores, what is more pleasing than hearing about lord vishnu's leelas. I dedicate this bhagavatham audio book to the lotus petal feet of lord Krishna and to the audience who are his form.
This episode is about gopika vasthraapaharana. To human beings it appears as the act of mischief but there is a great meaning in this act. the gopikas performed a pooja named kaathyayani vratham to get krishna as their husband so all of them were at river yamuna and were bathing. They kept their clothes on the banks of the river. They shouldn't bath in the river without clothes, which makes their ritual fruit less so he asked them to surrender to him by joining both their hands. So he will grant them their wish.
