Shrek is love, Shrek is life. Memes aside, this movie is legitimately good. There's a reason it spawned three sequels (and possibly a fourth?). Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy are a great pair, and never stop firing off jokes. There's a lot of (not so) subtle world-building with the fairytales, that admittedly gets more fleshed out as the series goes on.
