Sarir Sristi' audio-contemplation discusses the role of the body in relation to Aatma. 'Shre Hinsayam', that is,the sarir(body) is a thing that decreases and increases. The living entity receives external things through the five knowing senses and the five working senses, while the inner world is received through Mana, Ahankar and Buddhi. There are three states in this kind of indulgence - Jagrat(waking), Swapna(dreaming) and Sushupti(deep sleep). In the Jagrat state, the senses are connected to the subject and enjoy it. The ear connects words, the skin connects touches, the eyes connects shape and vision, the tongue connects juices, and the nose connects odors. Buddhi enjoys happiness and sorrow. In the Jagrat state the senses are actively enjoying, but in Swapna the enjoyment is only through the Mana. In the state of Sushupti, the Mana is also absorbed, so only ignorance remains. The goal of life is to remove this ignorance. The main purpose of the human body is to try to free oneself from the bondage of space, time and karma.
