There was once the era of dowry, where the amount of goods, cash and property given by the girls side would determine the fate of a girl. But now, woman simply say "arre mujhe kya bechega rupaiya?" which means, how can a mere rupee decide my fate and values when I am worth so much more? Shruti Chadha's story is one that includes the lessons of selflessness and pride. Normally, the women of a Indian household do not take part in the matters of family business as male members are responsible for 'earning the bread and bringing wealth', but Shruti and her family have overcome this dynamic and broken away from the stereotypical notion many till date follow in India.
