What happens when you’ve gone so hard following what you always thought you wanted, and then hit a wall? My friend Ana Medina had to figure that out after 13 years as an investment banker. Leaving her job without anything lined up, she thought it was the perfect time for a sabbatical. Then COVID hit. I sit down with Ana to go over her change in plans, learning to flow, grief, loss of identity and the highs and lows of the recruiting process.

Ana Maria Medina is a finance and strategy executive with 15+ years of combined investment banking and early-stage tech company experience. Ana was a Vice President at J.P. Morgan in New York and Mexico City for over 8 years, providing strategic advice to Boards and Management Teams. She then worked as CFO at Finhabits, fintech providing services to underbanked Latinos in the US. Ana currently works as SVP of Finance and Legal at Crehana, leading B2B Talent Management SaaS in LATAM.
