English Summary:
A couple longs for a child, and when the wife craves rampion from a witch’s garden, her husband steals some for her. The witch catches him and demands their unborn child in exchange. When their daughter, Rapunzel, is born, the witch takes her and locks her in a tower with no doors or stairs, visiting by climbing her long golden hair.
One day, a prince hears Rapunzel singing and discovers how to reach her.
