In una valle di montagna della Georgia alcuni villaggi si stanno accartocciando su sé stessi. Le case stanno crollando e nel terreno si aprono delle faglie come dopo una forte scossa di terremoto. La gente del posto manifesta da anni per chiedere aiuto. Nel 2021, alcuni cittadini di Shukruti si sono addirittura cuciti la bocca con ago e filo come forma di protesta estrema per denunciare il silenzio attorno a questa situazione.
