Shut Your Face

It’s an away win against the division rival Giants. We take it but it wasn’t clean. Defense still not trustworthy and offense plays well. This week we discuss if Adam Peters and the Commanders need to make a move by the deadline. Big game on tap against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Will give us a chance to see who this team is against a good team coming off a bye week. _____________________________

UN-BE-LIEVABLE! A magical moment for what could be a magical season. Jayden Daniels to Noah Brown with the 52-yd Hail Mary to beat the Chicago Bears. Doesn’t get much better than that. This week we talk about where we all were when the moment happened. We breakdown the game and then talk about whether this team should still be aggressive in the trade market despite continuing to win.

Taking care of business was the name of the game in Week 7. Carolina may be the worst team in the NFL but this is a different Commanders team and they dominated from start to finish against a team they were supposed to dominate. A 40-7 smashing without Jayden Daniels. This week we discuss the game and spend the majority of the time talking about whether to play Jayden against Chicago in Week 8 or sit him for the future. We also end the podcast discussing some NBA as the season kicks off this week.

Tough one to lose in the Battle of the Beltway. The Commanders defense let the team down. Jayden showed up once again and that’s what you love to see. This week we discuss the abysmal defense, Jayden’s progression and we spend some time discussing rookie QBs and whether they should be starting in year 1 at all.

Blowout at home. Normally the Commanders would be on the receiving end of a blowout. Not this year. The offense and defense showed out for the home crowd. Through 5 games the team is 4-1 and starting to build some momentum. This week we discuss if it’s time to start raising the expectations or wait and see.

Win is a win? 7 field goals vs. 3 touchdowns to win the game. Only time in NFL history that has happened. This week we discuss a similar Jayden Daniels performance to Week 1. The team won, but it’s hard to feel much better than we did after Week 1.
