Since death comes when the spirit leaves the body (James 2:26), then resurrection involves the spirit returning to the body

[Luk 8:55 NKJV] 55 Then her spirit returned, and she arose immediately. And He commanded that she be given [something] to eat.

The father raised Jesus from the dead, but the Son also had authority to raise Himself, this was, in fact, a miracle.

It is because of His resurrection that Christians have the “living hope” that 1 Peter 1:3-4 talked about.
