The Bible teaches that sin has been defeated, and this is something to be celebrated. Sin has been rendered powerless by the cross of Christ. Well, then, some of you may be asking how does sin still have a stronghold in my life? The honest answer is because we allow it. God is not weak, me and you allow it sin to reign in us, This is why the scriptures command us not to let sin reign in our mortal bodies, this verse, by the way, shows us that it's our choice. The victory has been given, sin has been defeated.
