Sibusiso Walter Mhlango – On returning to SA and other interesting journeys  

An IT leader who has worked all over South Africa, Africa and the world. Sibusiso may have the biggest smile ever to feature on this show.  From the foothills of the Drakensberg mountains to the paved roads of Paris, Sibusiso shares his journey of hard work, travel and taking opportunities which leads to the man he is today.  

His view on Bantu education is one of the hardest evils to break as it has “educated us to take instruction, not to think and innovate” as well as his views on potential areas for growth in South Africa and what young people should be focused on is clear. Education plus work is the recipe for success. There is no short cut.    

There are funny moments from a world often forgotten but Sibusiso brings it back into focus in a gentle, positive way. The impact of coaches, mentors and a support system are clear. They work and they provide a glimpse of what could be. The rest is up to the person….
