They chat about Claire’s bout with mastitis, Joe’s worries around being too sick to care for his kids, and Claire’s early motherhood vigilance in taking Rodney’s temperature all the time. Kate gives Joe and Claire shockingly nice compliments, which means it’s time for her to take a sick day nap.
