Linda Chavers is a teacher and a writer whose work focuses on the intersections of race, gender and everyday life. She lives in Cambridge, MA where she is an Assistant Dean and Lecturer in African American Studies at Harvard University. She teaches and writes non-fiction on disability, relationships and pop culture. She loves boxing and spin class, and when she's not consuming reality television, she is spending quality time with her 5 year-old West Highland Terrier, Biggie Smalls.
