Sid Salter currently serves as Chief Communications Officer and Director at Mississippi State University. Sid has been a Mississippi syndicated political columnist for over 30 years.

Sid Salter is a Philadelphia, Mississippi native and author of "Jack Cristil: Voice of the MSU Bulldogs." Before spending time with the Clarion Ledger and SuperTalk Mississippi Radio Network, Salter spent 15 years as publisher and editor of the Scott County Times in Forest.
