Emotional talk with myself about trying to work side by side with others to create a connected community in the wake of recent events: the murder of George Floyd, the civil unrest in USA and UK protests. How do I, as a black mother, attempt to set an example for my children when I am in grief at the value placed on Black lives? I am sharing my thoughts, opinions and reflections as I try to parent and work, with vulnerable families, from a place of love despite trying to have my own healing.
