Tony Whatley is a Business Strategist, Public Speaker, host of the 365 Driven Podcast, and author of the Side Hustle Millionaire: How to build a side business that creates financial freedom.
Tony put himself through college by working full-time as a pipefitter and welder, attending school at night. On weekends, he also worked in restaurants to help pay bills. It took Tony 7 years to earn a degree in mechanical engineering.
After graduation he began working his way through engineering design roles, and then into Project Management (including stints in Europe and Africa.
In this episode Tony talks about growing up in a lower middle class family and the impact it had on his early view of the world, the myth that all new businesses need to high tech or feature some amazing new invention that will change the world, and shares the strategies and tactics he used to create his side hustle businesses.
