Howdy, Sidecountry Sisters Crew! In this episode we interview on of our dearest friends, Julie! Julie has type 1 diabetes and gives us the low down on all things diagnosis related, what Type 1 Diabetes is compared to Type 2, and how she manages this diagnosis as a fellow outdoors-woman! Leaf Peepin' is the time in CO (and in many other states in the U.S & Canada) where people flock form near and far to experience the change of seasons through the changing of the leaves. The Aspens in Colorado shift their green, shimmering, coin-like leaves into a vibrant yellow-gold, and it lasts for such a short time you'll be tempted to call out of work and head for the mountains to see them! It's basically your modern day gold rush, that lasts for just a month! Sure the traffic is awful on the weekends, but the views can't be beat. Welcome back Side Country Sisters Crew! We kick off season 2 interviewing possibly two of our favorite people ever, Brad & Ira Sheek! These two introduce us to the first side country quest abroad, giving all the insights they have to completing Camino de Santiago in Spain!
