The technology industry and government should be open to having a more positive working relationship, according to Edelman’s President and CEO Richard Edelman.

Richard was speaking to Sideload, the technology podcast from Edelman London, about how the technology industry can gain public trust. In the 2017 Edelman Trust Barometer, the technology industry remained one of the most trusted sectors. Trust in technology globally has stayed close to the 75% mark in recent years.

However, many of the big players have been in the headlines for the wrong reasons with data breaches and legislative sanctions undoubtedly gaining public attention. Could this affect public trust in the future?
