On the 18th of February 2021, the High Court ruled that the Government acted unlawfully. Matt Hancock and his department broke the law by failing to disclose details of the PPE contracts the Government awarded during the Covid-19 pandemic. The Judge found that the Government failed to act in accordance with transparency laws.
