This podcast interviewed Maria Murumaa-Mengel (PhD), a Lecturer of Social Media at the Institute of Social Studies, University of Tartu. Her doctoral thesis focused on imagined online audiences and her research areas of interest are inter-generational relationships in the context of new media, online privacy in the information age and the internet usage practices of the young. In addition to teaching at the university, Maria gives seminars on online risks and opportunities in secondary schools, addressing students, teachers and parents.
