Hi Folks, in this episode we visit the theme of eternal rewards. This is seen through the lens of faithfulness and stewardship - let that read as responsibility and accountability - towards the building of God's kingdom, either by our internal and ongoing sanctification or the use of our spiritual and natural giftings. Summed up in the illustration of 'to he who is given much, much is expected,' we then veer into the encouraging climax of race runners in the Lord, hearing him say 'enter into the joy of the Lord,' being faithful with few can rule with more. Hence the significance of the eternal rewards - the exchange of living for passing pleasures to working to please the Lord - is exemplified with the experiences of Moses and Jesus himself who knew the bigger picture and rewards for their faithfulness. Are we ready to run the race for the eternal crown knowing that our Christian lives is not in vain? If so, has God our Father given us a window in the spirit as to some inkling of eternal settlement in Him?
