The first question in the discourse is - Can something be shared about Eclipse (Grahan)?
Om Swami says, In the olden times, there was a lot of Misconception with regards to an eclipse.It was said that Rahu (commonly known as shadow planet), swallows the moon, and after a specific time, Rahu spits the moon out. Since Rahu swallows the moon, the older adults or priests advised people to stay indoors during the eclipse. As there was a thinking that if Rahu can swallow the moon it can swallow humans too. But today, science has come a very long way. When we get new knowledge that proves the old thoughts to be untrue then a human being must have enough courage to not hold on to the old school of thought & justify it.
