Signs of Drug Use

Listen Later

Mom, Dad, do you know how to look for signs of drug abuse?
I wish I could report otherwise, but drug use is a growing problem among teens. Not only are they buying from dealers at school or on the street, but they’re also turning to their parents’ medicine cabinets for prescription drugs.
If you’re worried that your teen might be using drugs, here are a few signs to watch for:
First, constant use of eye drops. Smoking pot dries out the sinuses.
Second, overuse of air fresheners or incense. They might be trying to mask the smell of smoke.
And third, small burns on their forefingers and thumbs.
Parents, don’t be caught unaware. Keep an eye out for signs that your teen might be experimenting with drugs.
