Silence and Scripture. Here is a piece of what our boy Hamilton has to say, "When I try to meditate, pray, practice silence, or read scripture, I am often distracted, confused, anxious, selfish, and even doubtful. It can be downright discouraging until I remember, oh yeah, this is why I need the Lord. And in needing Him, we are right where He wants us - at His feet doing our best to listen, to come to Him, to follow Him. Jesus loves us even with our faltering attempts in the same way a parent loves a child’s artwork when he or she comes home from school."
