One Poem Only

Silence the Foe by Gloriaea

Listen Later

Silence the Foe Gloriaea Horror Horror Blood poured from my eyes Every word you penned Dug through my irises
But why foil the ink Stuff it back in the pen Hold one end to their jugular Until they eat their stained paper
Why not Pull out a fresh sheet And let your heart bleed Color every page With the kaleidoscope of you Until the lights shines Various frequencies amplified Blinding our skulls Until they've expanded
Mute the poet Cut off his chords Or find your voiceAnd illuminate the stage

Write After: National Poetry Month with One Poem Only

Write After is a way to encourage poets to listen and write, and use National Poetry Month to highlight how listening to poetry makes us better poets. I know I write the best when I’m surrounded by beautiful poetry–it’s part of the reason I created this podcast, and I want to encourage others to share this practice.

We'll get started in April. You can share to #WriteAfterOPO.
