Silent Hype makes her return to NCMF for her second year, debuting at the Firepit Stage on Saturday. She opens with her latest release "Rhythm Wavv" and works her way into a homage for Chicago, kicking things off with some Footwork. She then transitions through syncopated beats and brings up the tempo into Jungle, curating a signature moment as the people's dubbed 'drum and bass queen'. As the journey continues, she displays her range by bringing things down a notch with some filthy trap-inspired dubstep, bringing us full circle to a half-time juke. This set was amazing to hear live on the VOID sound system, watching the way she makes a statement through various trumpet anthems and her fierce stage presence, claiming this triumphant moment. The latin influences were also a hit, from reggaeton to baile funk. What a ride it's been to be able to twerk, skank, throw some gun fingers and multiple bass face moments all in one set! Her versatility and energetic signature speaks for itself!
