壓制異議言論：
Meta 疑似應中國政府要求，封鎖旅美異議人士帳號，並能在特定時間地區調整平台功能。
二、TikTok 相關疑慮：
資料安全與國安風險：
雖然 TikTok 推出「Project Texas」嘗試將美國數據留在本地，但影片內容仍可能外流，用作 AI 訓練，形成安全漏洞。
中共宣傳工具：
TikTok 被發現演算法傾向推廣「親中」內容，壓抑批評中共的影片，引導用戶自我審查。
演算法操控：
強大的演算法根據用戶行為進行精準推播，可能對思想形成與意識形態造成潛移默化的影響。
言論審查問題：
有用戶反映因涉及政治議題遭下架或封號，顯示 TikTok 可能限制言論多樣性。
三、社群平台的共通風險：

1. Meta (Facebook)

• Censorship and Compliance with China:
• Meta allegedly built a content censorship tool for users in Taiwan and Hong Kong under the direction of Mark Zuckerberg, to appease Chinese authorities. This tool was automatically triggered for high-traffic posts and reviewed by Chinese officials.
• User Privacy Compromised:
• Meta was reportedly willing to share data of Hong Kong users with the Chinese government, risking exposure of American user data as well.
• AI Technology Assistance:
• Since 2015, Meta is said to have shared AI insights with Chinese authorities, indirectly helping China advance its AI technologies, including models like DeepSeek.
• Misleading the U.S. Congress:
• Zuckerberg allegedly lied to Congress by denying Meta's compliance with Chinese censorship, while the company maintained a substantial presence in China.
• Silencing Dissent:
• Meta reportedly shut down accounts of Chinese dissidents living in the U.S. at Beijing's request and developed tools capable of suppressing certain content by region and time.

2. TikTok

• National Security and Data Risks:
• Despite the "Project Texas" initiative to store U.S. data domestically, publicly available TikTok videos may still be accessible abroad and exploited for AI training.
• Propaganda Tool for China:
• Studies show TikTok promotes "pro-China" content more than other platforms, suppressing anti-China topics like Tiananmen, Xinjiang, or Tibet.
• Algorithmic Manipulation:
• TikTok’s algorithm steers user attention based on subtle engagement metrics, potentially guiding ideological exposure.
• Censorship Concerns:
• Users report content removal or account bans for politically sensitive videos, suggesting limited freedom of expression.

3. General Social Media Threats

• Information Warfare:
• Hostile actors can use platforms to spread misinformation and deepen societal divides.
• Surveillance and Data Exploitation:
• Platforms collect vast user data, which can be used for targeted monitoring and data-based coercion.
• Public Opinion Manipulation:
• Through bots, paid influencers, and algorithmic control, fake public consensus can be manufactured.
• Threats to Democracy and National Security:
• Foreign interference via social media can disrupt elections, erode trust, and compromise national interests.
• Digital Sovereignty Risks:
• Over-reliance on foreign tech platforms may undermine a nation's control over its own information ecosystem.
