Silent Knight is a 2 part play originally written in Bulgarian where Vasino the silent knight was fighting in a long crusade. It was set in the 1200s and again in the 1600s. Vasino the silent knight was indeed imprisoned as a knight for a year until he starved to death so he died off as a knight and came back to life 400 years later as a former knight.
