"Noctiluca" is a four track EP by Japanese artist Silentwave, exploring the mysteries of the deep sea.

Track 1 to 3 are based on improvisation and a feeling for the deep sea, recorded October 2020.

Track 4 consists of field recordings done March 2019 on the coast of Izu/Japan. The sounds were recorded on a very windy day and later on processed into a drone sound.

About the artist:

Silentwave creates works of ambient and techno with a peculiar interpretation. The themes are "human beings and nature", "consciousness and unconsciousness" and "light and darkness".
