Thong is a serial tech entrepreneur and data scientist. Prior to moving back to Vietnam, he founded Arimo, a Big Data company based in California, recently acquired by Panasonic US and ranked as one of the top ten most innovative tech startups in Big Data and AI by Fast Company.

With his two co-founders, he started Palexy in 2020 with one obsession: to put the technological potential of Vietnam to use, and shake up the traditional retail market. The startup has bagged US$1 million in a funding round recently.
