Silicon vs. Saline: Two Patients Share Their Experiences with Breast Implants

Listen Later

These two patients share their experiences with saline and silicon breast implants.

The patient who is 5 days out from her procedure with silicon implants reports that there was very little pain and that she was walking out of the OR post-procedure since it was under local (awake) anesthesia. Her implants are above the muscle and under the fascia.

The patient who had her procedure done 3 years ago had her saline implants placed under the muscle. She loves her results, but Dr. Claytor explains that the implants were placed under the muscle to prevent rippling that is inherent with saline implants.

Both women say that the other's augmentation looks very natural!
