Inspired by our friends at the Longbox Heroes podcast doing a Sandman read-though, we take a look at the Silver Age DC Comics duo Stanley and his Monster, specifically their 1993 mini-series by Phil Foglio. We look at the characters’ creation in the mid 1960s, how the mini-series is loosely connected to the Sandman story Season of Mists and the two showing up in one of the best DC books of the last few years, Scooby Doo Team Up.
