It's pretty good but the end is lacking.

I didn't like the fact that the book's ending was left hanging and we are left in limbo waiting on the next book. When is the next book? It's not like it is a TV show where you can catch the rest in a week. Also the repeating of the parts we already know about the characters because it is a series.

This one you could see coming. It was an alright story line, but any reader could have told you the story and the ending before

Knew the basic story and ending before I began the book. Not the best in the series and not sure I bought the 10 year time frame in those relationships. Too much maturing goes on between 18 and 28 to even have it be believeable for me.

I almost didn't finish this book, but didn't want to give up after I had already invested time in reading it. Plainly speaking, it was boring. At the end of it, I was still waiting for it to get better, but it didn't happen.

Didn't enjoy the high school reunion angle. Boring...

Thus far, I have enjoyed this series and the characters involved. I have to be honest. I skipped through the silly 20-something high school reunion chapters. They were a drag. I was completely disappointed in this book. Forced myself to finish it...more or less.

Silver Linings

I love Debbie Macomber books. I like that these characters feel like real people with real problems. Although this book was a little predictable with two of the characters, there were a few surprises with the main character and her handy man. I can't wait to find out how their story plays out. Part of me wants them to live Happily Ever after, but the other part is like, life isn't always like that. I love that her characters have real struggles, and they struggle with how they have felt for the past 10 years of their lives. Regrets, and hoping that at their high school 10 year reunion they can "fix" the past, or at least get over it to be able to move on. I can't wait for the next installment of Jo Marie's life!
