In this episode Kate catches Ricky and his friends watching an X-rated film during a sleepover, and she insists that he tell his father what happened.

This episode provides a good message about talking to your teens about one of the most uncomfortable topics out there, sex.

I think this episode provided a good leaping off point from here on out as we see Ricky get older and face more difficult challenges down the road.
