Today, I'm covering S2E16: A Hunting We Will Go, which aired on February 18, 1984.

In this episode Rick is eager to go on his first hunting trip with his grandfather, and Edward reluctantly allows it. But when Rick gets a deer in his sights, he finds himself conflicted over the experience.

I’m happy there is a disclaimer at the end of the episode by Ricky Schroder saying the real deer they used was not harmed in the making of the episode.

This was a powerful episode, Ricky Schroder knocked it outta the park with his acting in this episode!

In this episode When the tomboyish pitcher on Ricky's baseball team asks Kate for advice on how to be lady, she assumes that the girl has a crush on Ricky. Little does Kate know that she has set her sights on someone else.
