To be honest this episode, was lack luster. We have Grandfather Stratton depressed because his old rival passed away and he's chasing his fleeting youth and Ricky's in a hurry to grow up, wanting to get a job, drive a car, drink champagne and be old enough to see Purple Rain.

Join me next week for hopefully a more exciting episode in S3E14: Special Friend, which aired on January 13, 1985.

In this episode Rick becomes a peer counselor and tries to help a student whose attitude is worse than his grades.
