Jace continues the Thanos reading order by taking a look at Silver Surfer #36 from 1990. The first half of the issue has the Surfer visiting the Avengers to learn as much as he can about his new foe Thanos. Captain America fills him in on their past dealing with the Mad Titan, but is very disappointed to hear that Thanos has returned and has plans to destroy half the universe. The second half of the issue is an interesting and humorous encounter with the Impossible Man. What purpose this might serve in the Surfer's fight against Thanos, we don't yet know.
